GWHRA HR Certification Scholarship Application
Grundy Will HR Association (GWHRA) is pleased to offer a scholarship up to the amount of $1,000.00 for the reimbursement costs of HR certification. Scholarship dollars can be used for learning preparation materials or classes and/or the testing phase of the certification process. This award is designed to recognize and encourage the development of a GWHRA member in pursuit of professional certification.
Application Guidelines: Application must be submitted to gwhra.secretary@gmail.com no later than November 1, 2018 5:00pm.
Eligibility Guidelines:
• Applicant must be a member of GWHRA.
• Applicant must be pursuing SHRM professional certification or HRCI certification and meet the eligibility criteria of certification per organization.
Selection Criteria:
• Resume and two letters of recommendation
• Response to essay question
Essay Question:
• How will SHRM or HRCI certification better your HR career path? (1,000 words or less)
