Employment Issues You Need to Know in 2021

Although 2020 has come to an end, COVID-19 related employment issues, unfortunately, have not. In fact, in the new year, employers are facing a whole new host of issues including:

With the FFCRA's expiration, what should employers do when employees need time off for COVID-19 related reasons in the new year?

The COVID-19 vaccine is here, but can employers require employees to be vaccinated when available to them?

Is remote work here to stay, and could it now be deemed a reasonable accommodation under the ADA as a matter of course?

Our presenter this month is Scott Cruz of Greensfelder Law Firm.

Scott Cruz represents public and private sector employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, including civil litigation and preventative counseling. Scott represents employers in state and federal courts and administrative agencies involving claims brought under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, retaliatory discharge, breach of contract, labor arbitration and class actions. He is particularly versed in all aspects of state and federal law relating to minimum wages, overtime, exemptions, and wage payment issues. And, Scott provides management and employee training on workplace legal issues and conducts workplace investigations and legal audits.

You are invited to a Zoom meeting.
