Organized in 1983 as First Midwest Bank it is now traded on the NASDAQ under FMBI and is headquartered in Itasca, IL. It is a diversified financial services company with assets of $8.1 billion and serves communities in Eastern Iowa, Northern Illinois and Northwestern Indiana. First Midwest has recently received the JD Powers Award for “Highest Customer Satisfaction with Retail Banking in the Midwest”.
