Student Conference and Case Competition - Volunteers Needed!
The ILSHRM State Council is pleased to announce the annual Student Conference and Case Competition will be held on April 6th & 7th, 2018 at the National Louis University downtown Chicago campus. The purpose of this conference is to provide a unique learning experience for HR students exploring career opportunities in the human resources profession.
We rely on industry volunteers to make this event a success. This is a great opportunity to connect with future HR leaders and to keep abreast of which skills are being taught.
Who are we looking for to get involved?
- HR professionals to judge the HR Games and test students’ knowledge in a Jeopardy style game format.
- HR professionals to judge the Case Competition, during which students present a solution to a real-world strategic and tactical challenge.
- Speakers to deliver content relevant to current HR issues, trends, legislation, etc.
- Sponsors needed to support a feature of the conference and showcase their company.
If you are unable to volunteer but are interested in getting involved, contact your local student chapter and assist with travel expenses to the conference.
