Presenter: Kristin Ziman, Aurora IL Chief of Police (Ret.)

In this presentation, Chief Ziman will talk about police force response to the February 15th, 2019 call of a disgruntled worker killing people at the Henry Pratt Company in Aurora. She will describe the police response, the heroism of her officers who were shot, and how their training kicked in in pursuit of the killer. She will share important information from the aftermath of the crisis and how the community worked together to cope and heal her officers and their families, as well as the families of the deceased workers in the plant.
